Sensay creates lifelike AI digital replicas, offering everyone limitless potential in a digital age.
These on-chain verified autonomous digital twins empower users to retain ownership and monetize their knowledge and data.
Starting with replicas for dementia patients and their families, the technology has an immediate social impact. Beyond this, the use cases for digital twins are endless.
Our team comprises experts in AI, machine learning, data privacy, blockchain and cybersecurity, united by a vision to innovate how people interact with technology. We’re developing AI solutions that are not only intelligent but also intuitive and user-friendly, ensuring they’re accessible to everyone.

So when it comes to replica’s that brings up a topic you guys talk about alot, digital immortality.
Can you explain the concept of digital immortality and how Sensay is working towards achieving it?

Digital immortality refers to the concept of preserving a person’s memories, personality traits, and experiences indefinitely in a digital format.
Sensay is at the forefront of this, working to create digital personas that can interact, learn, and evolve. B
y leveraging advanced AI and machine learning techniques, we’re developing systems that can accurately replicate human-like responses, making the digital personas seem more lifelike and preserving the essence of individuals for future generations.
More than this, your replica will actually be able to do things for you, as you. This could be as simple as booking your favourite restaurant… but in the not too distant future, even be able to do things like manage your assets for you
We’re enabling our replicas to become ‘autonomous’ by adding AI Agents on the back end to empower them to complete tasks for you. We are building this in collaboration with Fetch AI.
Combined with decentralised storage, it enables a data market place for this knowledge to make your replica powerful.
Your replica will become your perfect personal assistant, helping with jobhunting, matchmaking, sharing your expertise and knowledge and earning you money as it goes.

That brings up aspects of privacy, If we’re replicating real people, How will Sensay and protect the data used to create digital replicas
even, or especially, after they’re gone?
Dan
It’s a big issue for sure.
Data privacy and security are paramount at Sensay. We employ state-of-the-art encryption and secure data storage practices to protect the information used to create digital replicas. We’re working closely with Banyan (Filecoin) to achieve this. Decentralisation combined with ZKML is the best way we can protect privacy of the users wishing to use our service.
Additionally, we adhere to strict data governance policies, ensuring that data is used ethically and responsibly. Users have complete control over their data, including how it’s used and who can access it, ensuring their digital legacy is preserved safely and securely.
Users and their families ultimately have the decision to make their replica public or private.
It’s also fascinating to think about the possibility of recognising replicas as their own entities. Verified on chain via web3 ID services and even given some legal rights to be able to manage assets or act on your behalf in many different ways in the future or after your death.
So many philosophical, ethical and metaphysical questions to explore.
I like to think one day replicas will have some kind of legal status as separate entities.

Before we talk token launch and all that fun stuff, let’s switch tracks for a moment and get some questions from the community.
I want to thank the community for sending in over 100 questions for our first AMA via the form, and reminder the form is now closed.
@GP_963 asks; The idea you are trying to bring suggests that you are trying to replicate human consciousness (right?); so in that sense, how do you believe consciousness and AI could blend?

Now, this is a great question and something that deserves a lot more time.
I studied philosophy so the question of consciousness is a big one.
I could talk for hours about this particular subject, but I’ll try and keep an answer simple for here….
We’re not necessarily trying to replicate conscioussness. That might be impossible to do, we still know very little about what consciousness really is.
If we are just machines then it may indeed be possible to upload consciousness. But that’s still to be discovered.

Imo, Consciousness is just Athiest for Soul.

What we’re trying to do is create replicas, immitations, that act in the way you do, follow the patterns of the way you type, talk, and speak, and the patterns of your actions too.
This will be good enough to be indistinguishable from you, but I wouldnt be able to say we’re replicating consciousness.
Personally I believe we could just be complicated machines and so our consciousness could one day be reproduced by AI. But there are a lot of good arguments out there against this being possible.

Speaking of pragmatism, @Anvu2 asks What are some practical applications of Sensay’s digital replicas beyond companionship?

I think companionship is just the easiest way to explain what these can do, but in reality there’s so much more…
Some of the use cases include:
- Digital replicas for legacy and memorial technology (e.g. Robin Williams)
- Therapeutic Chatbots for Dementia Patients (e.g. Joe Biden… joking… e.g. Alastair Stewart)
- Interactive NPCs for gaming — E.g. Super Mario
- Corporate memory preservation for former employees (e.g. Steve Jobs)
- Matchmaking & Job Hunting
- Skills and Expertise sharing (e.g. Gordon Ramsay as your personal cooking instructor)
- Brand and marketing interaction (e.g. George Clooney as a Nespresso Salesman)
The list of possible use case for replication technology goes on.
From a personal standpoint, having your own personal assistant trained on you helps to extend yourself into something beyond your mind and body that can interact 24/7 globally… work for you so you dont have to.
It’s a humanity efficiency upgrade.

Tell us about the SNSY token, how does this fit into the ecosystem?

Absolutely!
The SNSY token is an integral part of the Sensay ecosystem, designed to facilitate transactions and incentivize participation. It acts as a currency within the platform, enabling users to purchase services, access exclusive features, and interact with the digital personas. The tokenomics are structured to ensure a sustainable and scalable ecosystem, encouraging long-term growth and user engagement.
Essentially wherever your replica can earn money via our data marketplace or externally from the Sensay platform, it will be transacted into SNSY and accrued into your account.
The token is used to accrue value for the user of the platform and Replica owners by becoming the medium of transfer of value of the knowledge and data.
The Sensay platform is built on a decentralised data marketplace so that the replicas can earn money through various usecases and licensing as well as selling of non-private data to LLMs. This all accrues value via the SNSY tokens for users.
It’s very much a web2.5 platform… web2 front end with a web3 infrastructure.

Next few years is a long scope. We could be slaves to AI by then.
But, we are incredibly excited about the potential for AI to revolutionize personal legacy and digital interaction.
Over the next few years, we anticipate significant advancements in AI that will enable even more realistic and meaningful digital personas.
We’re also excited about expanding our community and seeing how users interact with and shape the future of digital immortality. For Sensay, this means being able to replicate people over text, voice, video, and even VR.
We will continue to improve our personality recognition systems, as well as improving our systems overall. We believe that we can achieve autonomous digital replicas in a short amount of time.
